Well its my first wip, so....  tounge.gif
I have used the rips from others and some riped by me:
*Sprites:
-Shin Kung Fu Man   (All Hayato sprites)
-Nobuyuki (All MvC2 sparks plus "run" special efect from MVC2, all taked from his Wolverine_mc2)
-Ryou Win (sprite 9000 2, and Cable sprites)
-Nabeshin(Me) (MVC1 sprites)
*Sounds:
-The Inmortal   (All the sounds from the .snd except one are by him)
                -Ryou win                                  (All Cable sounds)
-Nabeshin(Me) (the only MVC1 sound)

*Code: All made by me wink.gif

Lots of things missing:
fix all i have done, add AI, endings, more specials, etc....

If you find bugs on what i've done (suuuure you will find omg.gif  ), or ideas report them here please.

This is really nice for a first character.  Great job, thus far.

Anyway:

-What is the purpose of the z button?

I was wondering, are you planning to make him a six button character?  Really, that would make this character a lot more enjoyable.

the z button was the command i used for trying things (like a temp command), but this char is a 4 button char, ill think to make a 6 button char, but by now i'll finish it as 4 button. =D.gif

ok, so how different will this hayato be from ryouwin's and 1 winged angels? plz tell me that there is some significant difference between this guy and his predicessors

well, I think now its a bit different. Anyway it isn't one of my goals, actually i really like some attributes of the other two. tounge.gif
Anyway, things differents apart you have seen of the beta: i'll add 2 helpers(like MvC2) and supers with this 2 helpers (MvC2).

New update, added Cable as striker(press Z; and the super with him press C+Z),added that guard that pushes the enemy away(X+Y while guarding),and fixed few old things:

Ok i'll be honest when i saw this i thought that it was a bad Hayato conversion (Hayato has let me down 2 times already  cry.gif )......BUT i was wrong, the char i really good and the fact that is still in beta version makes it better because it can get better  =D.gif

It does'y have that "slow" feeling likew RyouWins Hayato (sorry RyouWin), or the ultra hyper fast feeling of One Winged Anegls Hayato he is easy to combo (kinda cheap also, sometimes is to easy)it feels good, not sure about accuracy since i haven't played MvC2 in some years......and i never used Hayato (silly me), anyway here is some of teh stuff i found:

- Super jump is sometimes kinda hard to pull of with D,U but is easy with k,k  happy.gif
- Some animations are too fast like the bike intro or the taunt
- In the bike intro when Hayato gets off the bike you can see 2 Hayatos
- When you hit a guarded opponent you can see the hitsparks are way off (sorry no pic)
- When you grabed the opponet he kinda disspears when falling down (this happened with KFM so the problem must be Hayato)
- When you win in a Hyper Combo finish and the letters appear with the name of teh hyper move, thay should dissapear after a while instead of staying there
- When you use the black Hayato hyper  against a enemy with low llife you should make the enemy not die until he recieves the final blow (to make it look cooler)
- The letters from teh hyper finish should be an animation instead of just the name pop up at once (did you understand...i think it came out kinda conffusing  sad.gif )
- Will you had the combo messages like "Great", etc + it respective sounds?
- Who will be the other striker?
- Cables beam animation is kinda lame
- The hyper with the beam that comes from the ground (too lazy to check name) should be a multy hit attack instead of a a big hit......i think is just one my curent lifebars don't have a hit counter (SF2)
- The backgraound of teh hyper where Hayato "explodes" (agaun too lazy to check name) is very fast and it makes me dizzy
- Yuo should get teh MvC2 Hyper animation instead of the MvC1.....it doesn't seem to fit very much
- Get a new big and small portrait
- More pallets

Woow that's a lot i hope it helps somehow  =D.gif, and as i said this char is very promising, it might be the best Hayato (again sorry RyouWin)

Thanks a lot for listing me the bugs, truely it will be very usefull for me(i discovered new ones) :
-What do you prefer instead of D,U?D,F,U is better?I putted U,D only for the people that usually uses the U,F,D, cause i allways use A+B.
-Yes bike animation, taunt and a few more seems a bit strange. I can repair bike animation, but taunt is a bit dificult , cause it doesnt have many sprites, so i cant slow him much, but i'll try.
- I heard some people saying the same, i'll fix this.
-  huh.gif i this is new for me, i'll fix this.
- I know, i'll fix this later (cause i hate throws). xd.gif

- Sorry i dont understand, if you say a name of a char that do that.
- I 'll think about it, cause i 'll have to put also Animations putting the text, etc..., if it looks nice i'll do.
-Still not sure: All MvC chars can be the striker, but Servbot, wolverine, ryu, Jill, strider are my favourites.
-I know  xd.gif , but i cant find another one.I'll have to try to rip with chankast, cause i dont want to leave this one.But im not very good ripping.
-do you mean Engetsu?i don't understand sorry
-Ill fix this.
-But i cant find good MvC2 backgrounds, thats why i putted MvC1 backgrounds, anyway some MvC1 backgrounds are good. By now i dont see a problem here, but if i find a better background ill update it .
-I think big portrait is good enough,small portrait perhaps...i'll check this.
-Ufff, near impossible , cause i made a big mistake,all the sff it's a mistake  xd.gif , to long to explain here, but if you open the sff with mcm you'll see what im talkin about.

You can consider Ruby Heart for the striker,because she and Cable are the protagonists.

i still havent done anything of the other striker(no time cry.gif ), so i still can consider to use ruby heart, but even she can give a bit of originality, im still not sure which one i'll use, but perhaps ruby heart wink.gif

Personal opinions : The big portrait is kind've dull, cable's beam should have more animation or a different beam, the bg during the secondsuper is really fast but I guess that's understandable.

More bugs :

If you normal combo (say 4 hits) into his black hayato super the hit counter doesn't continue displaying the continued hits.

If you do his black hayato super from a distance the hit counter doesn't display the hits at all. (Any distance actually)

Shouldn't the tercersuper hit the opponent a little higher?

The end sound of his taunt has this ugly "byte" sound. (Like he's farting)

This was directly after he "pulled" it out. Otherwise nabeshin I feel this is a great beginning besides what else was mentioned this is a good hayato. Continue and congrats.

The bug you are showing is a bit strange, i never have seen this bug(look the pic).seems an absolut mess with colors...do you see the same problem with the others   supers? or are you using dos mugen?

Yep, most likely a dos issue because he looks fine in winmugen to me. Nice work nabeshin, i'm looking forward to when he's done. Very good for a beta.

Yes, probably a dos issue,long time ago i made a mistake with the sff,thats why this char have only one palete and cant be properly played with dos mugen...and im not sure if i'll fix this rebuilding the entire sff(more than 1000sprites... cry.gif )
